Watsonville ReStore Shift

Service Description

ReStore Watsonville needs help in our store with organizing, cleaning, and moving heavy items like furniture and appliances. Note: while we have designated shift times, volunteers are welcome to join us any time between 9am - 4pm Mon-Sun at the Watsonville ReStore. Volunteers help with customer service, product display, office assistance, preparing donations for pricing, donations repair, and cashiering. Qualified volunteers also assist staff with donation pick ups by riding along in the ReStore truck. No prior experience is required, although prior retail experience in a warehouse environment or construction experience is always welcome. Bear in mind that the ReStore is a large warehouse full of donated items. Be sure to wear closed toed shoes and clothing that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. The temperature in the ReStore tends to fluctuate from chilly in the morning to hot in the afternoons, so dressing in layers is often best.
